I was extremely faturnote to have my very first project out of architecture college to be the San Diego Convention Center Phase One. This was a joint venture with Arthur Erickson Architects | LMN Architects of Seattle | Deems Lewis McKinley of San Diego, CA where I worked. Working for over a year on this project was paramount to my internship & my future architectural design career. I did get to work on huge models & witness the craft of model building at the AEA-LA office. Erickson was a fan of FULL SCALE mock ups during design process & many large models to aid in his brilliant creative process. This project won numerous awards & was published in Architectural Record + cover page.
